GroundPlug® Twister^TM M12 is our medium Twister^TM screw pile series. We recommend this series for dense sand and stiff clay. GroundPlug® Twister^TM M12/40″, like the 30″, is appropriate for both decks and light sheds or similar. Distance from terrain level to mounting point up to 8 inches for decks and 4 inches for light constructions like sheds. Choose the 40″ if you need to reach deeper into the ground to find carrying capacity in the soil or if you are living in an area that gets frost and building a structure very sensitive to small displacements.
